Actor and Comedy Icon Keegan-Michael Key Narrates “Einstein’s Incredible Universe”, the latest Cosmic Picture release for IMAX® and giant screen theaters
NEW YORK, NY – October 14, 2026: Cosmic Picture today announced that its film, Einstein’s Incredible Universe, features narration by actor Keegan-Michael Key.
A decade in the making, Einstein’s Incredible Universe tells the remarkable story of how Einstein’s imagination and relentless curiosity changed our understanding of the universe, and how his vision continues to inspire the most pioneering astrophysicists working today. The film features black hole hunter and 2020 Nobel laureate, Dr. Andrea Ghez, and Dr. Nergis Mavalvala, Dean of MIT´s School of Science and member of the team that detected Einstein´s elusive gravitational waves.

Keegan-Michael Key is an Emmy, Peabody, and Webby Award-winning actor, writer, host and producer. Key came to worldwide attention as co-creator and co-star of Comedy Central’s groundbreaking sketch series Key & Peele. Key previously hosted and executive produced National Geographic’s Brain Games and narrated the award winning Audible podcast The History of Sketch Comedy. Additional film and TV credits include: Schmigadoon!, Wonka, Dolemite Is My Name, Only Murders In The Building and Abbott Elementary. Key has lent his voice to a number of animated projects including The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Transformers One, Migration, Toy Story 4, The Lion King, and Buddy, among others.

Einstein had a great sense of humor and play. I want people to see that he wasn’t just an austere genius with all the answers. He was someone who loved puzzles and mysteries. The questions he asked, even as a boy, challenged our assumptions and eventually changed our understanding of reality.”

Einstein’s Incredible Universe is an original Cosmic Picture production with funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation, the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and the Deborah Loeb Brice Foundation. The film will be available in 2D and 3D digital formats for IMAX, domes, giant screens and planetariums starting in Spring 2027.
